Alan MacIntyre, MS, PMP  Alan is a RGF Group senior instructor and consultant with more than 15 years of project management experience across a wide range of industries including information technology, construction & engineering, quality management and environmental remediation.  Alan is an established expert in the areas of project management and risk management.  He has developed and delivered training programs that are currently offered through the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Registered Education Provider program.   He delivers an exam preparation course for aspiring Project Management Professionals (PMP®) which boasts over a 90% pass rate for his students.

As a consultant and trainer, Alan has provided essential organizational development services to the Dept. of Energy (DOE), Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS), Dept. of Defense (DoD), NY State Governor’s Office, Battelle Memorial Institute, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boston University, Stony Brook University, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), Merck, Wyeth, Telcordia Technologies, Johnson & Johnson, Williams Communications Solutions, JP Morgan Chase, PSE&G, Hess, Catholic Health Services, and Alcatel.  He has also delivered talks on various project management topics to local PMI Chapters in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan and New York.

Alan has been a major contributor in the development and implementation of project management at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) where he acted as the project controls manager for two nuclear reactor decommissioning projects at BNL (HFBR and BGRR).  Currently, Alan provides project management support to several ongoing DOE and DHS projects and has performed numerous risk analyses that included detailed Monte Carlo schedule and budget simulation results.

Alan holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College (1995) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University (1988).  Alan obtained his certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2000 and is a founding member of the Long Island Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has also served as the president for a local non-profit organization he helped establish, the Port Jefferson Harbor Education & Arts Conservancy.
